The Shanghai Planetarium, a popular science education venue with the theme of astronomy, which is right around us, can learn about the universe and perceive space up close, has also unveiled its mystery.

Nearly 10,000 spectators, as the "examiners" of the pressure test, entered the venue to "see it first." It will finally be open to the public from July 18, 2021. Jiangsu Liangcai invites you to check in! With a total construction area of approximately 38,000 square meters, it is the world's largest planetarium with the largest construction area. Its subsidiary buildings also include the Public Observatory, the Magic Sun Tower, and the Youth Observation Base. It is also one of the most iconic buildings in the Lingang New Area.

With its rich project experience and excellent product quality, Jiangsu Liangcai won the opportunity to participate in the large screen construction of the Shanghai Planetarium, and contracted two LED displays for the venue, namely the solar screen and the arched screen in the "Homeland" theme exhibition area. 

The audience saw at the scene a large LED screen measuring 6 meters by 6 meters, showing the real image of the hot sun. In order to let the audience really feel the "hot like fire" of the sun, a hot air vent was installed on the ground about 2 meters away from the big screen. In this way, it will bring the audience a multi-sensory experience full of visual impact and temperature somatosensory. . Facing the "sun" and punching a card, you can leave a super beautiful silhouette.

According to the official introduction, the whole museum uses well-designed environmental atmosphere, lighting and sound effects and high-simulation scene simulation methods to construct an immersive space experience environment; adopts various advanced display methods such as somatosensory interaction, data visualization, AR, VR, biometrics, etc. Integrating visual, listening, and touching, it fully mobilizes the audience’s emotions and senses, and leads them to a new universe exploration experience in the mysterious and beautiful, engraved time and space. Among more than 300 exhibits, the original proportion is as high as 85%, and interactive exhibits account for more than 50%.

The Shanghai Planetarium takes "connecting people and the universe" as its theme, "shaping a complete view of the universe" as its vision, and "inspiring people's curiosity" as its mission. It plans to have three core exhibition areas, "homeland", "universe" and "journey". Through the wonderful display experience and rich educational activities, people will be inspired to feel the starry sky and explore the universe's curiosity, and build a complete and clear view of the universe.
