What should I pay attention to when wiring LED display?

Reasonable standard wiring of LED screen can reduce the failure rate and safety of the product and avoid safety accidents. Many people may know the layout method of the general wire. In this Chongqing color light led display, you should tell the LED display. Install the wiring method.


       Many LED display failures are caused by improper installation and wiring. Therefore, in the LED display installation process, it is necessary to strictly follow the installation steps. The following LED display manufacturer Caiguang Technology will explain the wiring method when installing the LED display. .


       1. Check the power supply voltage, find the DC positive and negative connection switch power supply, connect the 220V power supply line to the switching power supply, (after confirming that the connection is correct, connect to the AC or NL terminal) and plug it in. You will find that there is a light on the power supply, then use a multimeter, DC to measure the voltage between V+ and V-, to ensure that the voltage is between 4.8V-5.1V, there is a knob next to it, you can adjust the voltage with a Phillips screwdriver. In order to reduce the screen heating and prolong the life, the voltage can be adjusted to between 4.5V and 4.8 when the brightness is not high. After confirming that there is no problem with the voltage, disconnect the power supply and continue assembling other parts.


       2. Turn off the power first. Connect V+ to the red line and V- to the black line, respectively to the control card and LED unit board. The black line is connected to the control card and the GND of the power supply. The red line connects the +5V of the control card to the VCC of the cell board. 1 power cord per cell board. When you are done, check to see if the connection is correct.


       3. Connect the control and unit board, and connect with the completed cable. Pay attention to the direction, you can't reverse it. Note that the cell board has two 16-pin interfaces, one for input and one for output. The input near 74HC245/244 is the input that connects the control card to the input. The output is connected to the input of the next cell board.


       4. Connect the RS232 data cable, connect the completed data cable to the DB9 serial port of the computer, connect the control card to the other end, connect the 5 pin (brown) of DB9 to the GND of the control card, and place the 3 pin of DB9 (brown white). Connect to the RS232-RX of the control card. If your PC does not have a serial port, you can go to the computer city to buy a USB to RS232 serial port conversion line.


       5. Check the connection again, if it is correct, the black line is connected to -V and GND. The red line is connected to +V and VCC +5V.


       6. Turn on 220V. Under normal circumstances, the power light is on, the control card is on, and the screen is displayed. If it is not normal, please check the connection. Or check for error repairs.


       7. Open the downloaded software, set the parameters of the screen, and send subtitles.

   Finally check if the LED display can run normally. If it is not working properly, check the steps again.
